Community Support
We so appreciate the commitment of community members, businesses and area organizations to support our mission of public awareness and involvement in nature through education, conservation and eco-tourism.
Matagorda County Birding Nature Center operates on revenues consisting of entrance fees, event fees, memberships, fundraisers, grants and donations. The 501(c)(3) is managed predominantly with volunteers and a working board of directors.
Please consider partnering with us through an annual membership.

Projects
CABINS Plans are being made on two cabins that will be built inside grain bin #5. We have eight grain bins that were built by John Woolsey that are now being used for maintenance and storage.
We will be encouraging ecotourism in our county and look forward to hosting friends and family with this project. To support this project simply note ‘CABINS’ on your donation form or check.
Living Legacy
LIVING LEGACY Wills or living trusts give people who partner with our mission the ability to donate to projects through estate planning. Contact Eva Malina to learn more about leaving a living legacy to MCBNC. Email
